Dear Mr. XX:
We appreciate your point of view, and have given it very serious consideration.
Our original intent in working with the Humane Society on the regional promotion was to raise money for animal shelters. We acknowledge we were not fully aware of the political agenda of the HSUS.
We in fact have no position either for or against the Humane Society.
Therefore, we are making a change and planning to
donate future program money directly to the local animal shelters that
we originally intended to partner with.
